About Submariner
Submariner Diving Center is a long-established dive operator located directly on the beachfront in the heart of El Nido, Palawan. From our base overlooking Bacuit Bay, we provide daily scuba diving trips, PADI courses, private diving experiences and dive-and-stay packages for beginners through to experienced divers.
Our focus is simple: small groups, professional dive supervision, well-maintained equipment and relaxed, enjoyable diving. We operate our own dive boats and have an experienced local and international team who know El Nido’s dive sites and conditions extremely well.
Being located directly on the beach means our guests can meet at the dive center, prepare their equipment and board the boats just a short distance away — making the diving day straightforward and convenient.
Our Beachfront Dive Center in El Nido
Our dive center is located directly on the beachfront in central El Nido, giving our guests easy access to the boats and the waters of Bacuit Bay. From the dive center, it is only a short walk to the beach before boarding for the day’s diving.
The center is set up for both new and experienced divers, with space for equipment preparation, briefings, course activities and daily dive organization. Our location also makes it convenient for guests staying in El Nido town and for those combining diving with accommodation at The Beach House.
Our Dive Boats
Submariner Diving Center operates its own fleet of dive boats for daily trips around El Nido and Bacuit Bay. Our fleet includes three traditional banka boats and a 10-metre speedboat, giving us flexibility for both shared dive trips and private diving experiences.
Our boats are equipped for comfortable full-day diving, with space for dive equipment, shaded seating, lunch facilities, toilets, emergency oxygen and first-aid equipment. Our experienced captains and boat crews know the local waters well and work closely with our dive professionals throughout the day.
Most daily trips depart at around 7:45 AM and return at approximately 3:00 PM, with up to three dives depending on the day’s schedule and conditions.
Diving Equipment & Safety
We provide well-maintained scuba diving equipment for our guests, including BCDs, regulators, wetsuits, masks, fins, tanks and weights. Our equipment is regularly checked and maintained as part of our daily operating procedures.
Safety is a priority on every dive trip. Our boats carry emergency oxygen and first-aid equipment, and dives are supervised by qualified dive professionals who are familiar with the conditions and dive sites around El Nido and Bacuit Bay.
We also keep group sizes manageable so that divers receive appropriate supervision, support and attention throughout the day.

Our Dive Team
Our dive team includes experienced local and international dive professionals who know the dive sites, conditions and marine environment around El Nido, Palawan, and Bacuit Bay.
Whether you are a first-time diver, completing a PADI course or joining us as an experienced certified diver, our team aims to make each dive day safe, relaxed and enjoyable. We keep groups manageable and match divers according to their experience and the type of diving they want to do whenever possible.
Our instructors, divemasters, boat captains and crew work together throughout the day to make sure guests are properly supported both in and out of the water.
Daily Diving in Bacuit Bay
Most of our daily dive trips leave El Nido at around 7:45 AM and return at approximately 3:00 PM. Depending on the schedule, certification level and conditions, guests can complete up to three dives during the day.
Dive sites are selected according to weather, sea conditions, diver experience and the best diving available on the day. Between dives, guests can relax on the boat, enjoy lunch and take in the scenery of Bacuit Bay.
We offer options for beginner divers, certified fun divers, PADI students and guests looking for a more private experience through our VIP Private Diving service.
Private Diving in El Nido
For guests looking for more flexibility and privacy, Submariner also offers private diving experiences in El Nido.
